ORDER SONS OF ITALY IN AMERICA
SADDLEBACK VALLEY LODGE NO. 2566
MISSION VIEJO, CALIFORNIA
WELCOME

The Saddleback Valley Lodge No. 2566 part of the Order Sons of Italy in America. We are a fraternal organization that is both service and charity oriented. We strive to perpetuate our Italian culture as an integral part of our American heritage and by adhering to the principles of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.

Our charitable activities involve raising funds for various charities such as Cooley's Anemia, Alzheimer's Disease, Cancer Research, Birth Defects Programs at the University of California, Irvine, and for programs at the Fairview Developmental Center. Each year we participate in cooperation with the U. S. Marine Corp and other lodges in the "Toys for Tots" program which  collects and donates toys to needy children.

Members have  collected and donated fund for various  major disasters  such as earthquakes and floods. The Lodge also grants scholarships either directly or through the Western Foundation of the Grand Lodge of California to high school students about to enter College or University.

The Lodge meets once a month which  includes several dinner meetings, speakers involving our Italian culture and sometimes we just enjoy the camaraderie of being with fellow Italians and those that may like to be in the atmosphere  that the  Italian culture provides.  Outside of the regular meetings we have a Christmas Party, an Anniversary Dinner Dance,  a picnic at the ocean with bocce and usually a theater/dinner evening at a local theater and restaurant.  We will have almost anything that is fun and results in  bringing us together.
